PlatformOSx86-Linux-DebianOS Version
Summary0000940: dotty Bug
Description

After upgrading to 2.4.1 I get the following error from dotty:

[email protected]:~$ dotty
/usr/bin/dotty: line 2: set: -A: invalid option
set: usage: set [--abefhkmnptuvxBCHP] [-o option] [arg ...]
/usr/bin/dotty: line 12: syntax error near unexpected token `do'
/usr/bin/dotty: line 12: ` while [[ $# > 0 ]] do'

I fixed this, but there are many more problems in the dotty script, many
missing semicolons (if ... ; then ... ; fi). I tried it on different platforms (freebsd, linux(debian)). Used the RPM
package and compiled the sources, both have the same problem. I also thought,
that it could be a problem with the shell, so I tried different bash versions,
ksh, csh and zsh but without any luck.
Additional Information

[erg] Lefty switched to dotty.sh being a ksh script. Backed out to the
earlier bourne shell script.
