Summary0000810: fdp subgraphs depend on position of edge description
Description

In graphs with subgraphs, if all nodes are explicitly specified, it should
not matter where an edge is specified. I took the example from the gallery
and changed the placement of edge specifications. The result is strange.
Is it explainable? in which subgraph should edges be described?
Steps To Reproduce

graph G {
  e
  subgraph clusterA {
    a
    subgraph clusterC {
      C
      D
      a -- b;
     }
  }
  subgraph clusterB {
    d -- f
  }
     C -- D;
     a -- D;
  d -- D
  e -- clusterB
  clusterC -- clusterB
}
Additional Information
In the dot language, if an edge is in a cluster, so are its
nodes. In the original, a and b are in clusterA but not in clusterC.
In the graph above, the edge a--b in clusterC forces a and b into
that cluster, changing the layout.
