|Summary||0000799: dotty doesn't correctly represents a graph just after having loaded it|
On this particular graph (in attachement), the graph is not correctly
displayed just after having loaded it. The particularity of the graph is
to have some "label" and some "id" properties for the edges.
After opening the graph, the text
near the edges is equal to the "id" and not to the "label"
property. After one "Do layout", the text near the edges is equal to the
"label" and no more to the "id" property.
Moreover, if we try to move some vertices just after having loaded the
graph, we get a strange behaviour (the edges no more pointing correctly
to the vertices). But if we do a "Do layout" before moving a vertex,
there is no more problems.
[erg] Technically, the strange behavior is correct, in that the input graph is also strange.
If you add colors to the edges, note that the position information is attached to the wrong
edge. For example, the edge coordinates
pos = "e,99,228 99,284 99,271 99,252 99,237"
given to "n4" -> "n0" geometrically connect nodes n3 -> n1. This also explains the wild behavior
when you move a node, as well as the correction seen when a layout is done, since then the
coordinates are attached to the correct edges.
So the question then is, where did the input come from?
This is the same bug as 516
