Summary0000757: missing gvcint.h during graphviz install?
Description

In bioconductor, we use graphviz as libs.
<CD>
After plain
       configure
       make
       make install
</CD>

when compiling our codes, we want to access the version number of graphviz
release by using gvc->common.info[1], the same way as lib/common/input.c
handles "-V" option. Without gvcint.h in
       <...install dir...>/include/graphviz/
, compiler gives following error msg:
       dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
about "->common" part. After manually put it in place, everything runs ok.

In previous releases, gvcint.h is installed in the include-dir.
Additional Information

[erg] The information in gvcint.h describes the internals of the
various gvc types, and was not intended as part of the public API. As we
formalized the library interface, we removed gvcint.h and other
include files.

Other users have pointed out the same thing for the same reason. We
now (from version 1.15) provide the function

extern char *gvcVersion(GVC_t*);

which provides this information abstractly. We'll be updating the
stable release shortly to include this.

If you know of any other hooks into the library we should supply, please
let us know.
