Summary0000524: Dashed lines broken
Description

'm having a problem with edges using style 'dashed' or 'dotted' on 1.16.

In the inpu graph, the resulting dashed line has a white background. In previous versions it
would use the bgcolor (or perhaps it was just black). The white/green
edges are hard to find amongst all the 'wheat' edges I have in my graph.
Steps To Reproduce

graph test {
    graph [fontpath=".", bgcolor=black];
    node [fontname=lucon];

    node1 [label="node1"];
    node2 [label="node2"];

    node1 -- node2 [color=green, style=dashed, len=4];
}
Additional Information

[erg] Only occurs in bitmap output.

[ellson] I still think this might be a bug in libgd,
but its hard to trigger and I think I've identified a simple work-around.

The fix is in CVS now, and should be in tomorrow's graphviz-1.17.* snapshot.
