|Summary||0000489: Crashing Bug|
I have a dotfile that I'm using in a project I'm working on that consistantly
crashes graphviz using `dot -Tpng test.dot > out.png`
or `dot -Tjpg test.dot > out.jpg`.
Graphviz just ends with "Killed" when I run it on this file.
Webdot is also not capable of working with it (I'm guessing for the same reasons that it kills graphviz).
However, dotty seems to display it ok, so I'm not sure where the issue lies.
[ellson] I suspect that you are just running out of memory during bitmap generation.
If you need bitmaps you will need to reduce the size to about 10 x 10 inches max.
I suggest modifying your graph to compact and simplify a bit:
graph [ranksep="0.1" nodesep="0.1"]
node [label="" shape=point]
I was able to generate svg and view the result with sodipodi which can zoom an svg image.
