Summary0000369: Drawing an edge from a record
Description

First of all, love dot a lot :)

Assume it's by design, but the following is kind of anoying :)

1) edge starts from within the node and does not uses the shortest patht
(edge enters the node from the oposite side from where leaves the node)
<CD>
digraph bug {
rankdir = LR;
test [shape=record, label="<a>a|b"];
test:a->test:b;
}
</CD>

2) this fails while works fine with "non-record" nodes

<CD>
digraph bug {
rankdir = LR;
test [shape=record, label="<a>a|b"];
test:a->test:b;

/*This one works fine
test1->test1;*/
}
</CD>

3) can not separate tails when using records

<CD>
test [shape=record, label="<a>a|b | <c> c"];
test:a->test:b;
test:a->test:c;
</CD>

4) with records, a head does not point to the "middle" of the node,
but rather to the corner of it

Additional Information

[erg] Items 2 and 3 appear to be fixed. I'm not sure what 4 means.
They all show the problem of an edge starting from the center,
as though tailclip=false.
