Summary0000272: DOTTY coredumps on Linux mouse wheel events
Description

When using a typical "wheeled" mouse (i.e. a mouse with left and right
buttons and a clickable wheel as the middle button, like certain
Microsoft mice), if the mouse wheel is scrolled anywhere in the dotty
window, the application coredumps.

If the wheel is simply clicked rather than scrolled, no coredump occurs,
so it must have something to do with the wheeled mouse scroll event.

Using KDE window manager with kdebase-3.0.3-0.7.2
and XFree86-4.2.1-13.73.3.
Additional Information

It'd be great if DOTTY could be updated to scroll the window if the mouse
wheel is scrolled, like applications like XTerm do, but if not, then the
easiest fix would be simply to get the app to ignore mouse wheel scroll
events, rather than coredumping.

[erg] This is another report of bug 86.
