Summary0002348: Dot Crashes on Windows
DescriptionCertain graphs using records and labels will cause dot to crash.
Steps To Reproducedigraph name {

a [shape=record,label="<d>a"];

b [shape=record,label="<d>b"];

b:d -> c -> a:d;

b:d -> a:d;

b:d -> a:d;

}
Additional Information(Submitted for Hank Schultz)

This input has been trimmed down from a much larger graph, and this appears to be the smallest input that will cause the crash. In the original, the option “compound = true” is included so that paths taken more than once can be seen, but it is not necessary for the crash, whereas having the multiple entries is necessary.

Thanks for reporting, but the crash is just a symptom of a real bug that still needs to be fixed.
