Summary0002240: Setting.ini file includes outdated reference
Description1. Setting.ini holds the following
[Settings]Layout=0Output=9Preview=1InitialDir1=InitialDir2=InitialDir3=binPath=C:\Program Files\Graphviz2.24\bin\
The present version is installed in folder C:\Program Files\Graphviz 2.28\bin\
NB space between z and 2, and 28 rather than 24

2. An attempt to edit the Setting.ini file was rejected

3. Agree with issue id 0002127, 6) The default location that gvedit.exe saves and loads .gv or .dot files from is /bin/ rather than the user's My Documents folder.

Please suggest how the directories may be set and changed without administrator righs

4. The file Graphviz.ini contains [Graphviz]Version=XXX
Steps To ReproduceRemoved Graphviz 2.28, rebooted Windows, downloaded graphviz-2.28.0.msi, reinstalled: Same problem

I asked: Please suggest how the directories may be set and changed without administrator righs

Solution to this is to right-click on Notepad and note the 'Run with administrator rights' option.
I did so, and corrected the references to folders, but nothing changed.
