Summary0002143: Hardcoded paths used in build process
DescriptionSome hardcoded paths are used in build process.
Steps To ReproduceI downloaded via hg into /root/DEVELOPMENT/graphviz, did ./configure; make; make install that all went well.

Moved graphviz to /root/INSTALL/graphviz, dit hg pull; hg update; ./configure; make and that failed on some paths that were old. However some paths were new.

Or I need to run some extra commands which I forgot to run or the configure process should prevent this situation.

When pulling from hg, you need to run "./autogen.sh" first ... but I suspect you just forgot to mention that in the bug report and that its not the problem.

More likely is that some .la files have been installed ... these should probably never be installed, they always seem to cause problems! We exclude them from .rpm or .deb packages.

Try "make uninstall" from the old tree before building for a new location.
