Summary0001902: Nodesep should be supported in twopi
Description

Nodesep should be supported in twopi. It is supported in dot however.

Fixing this bug would provide users control over minimum seperation between and at the same time provide consistent graph settings for both dot and twopi.
Steps To Reproduce

digraph G {
   nodesep=10
   a -> b -> c
   a -> d -> e
   a -> f -> g
}
Additional Information

[erg]
What would nodesep mean in twopi?

[pander]
Increase ranksep to guarantee the separation between nodes like dot does? Or is better to only support ranksep in twopi and have the user increase that to get the desired separation between nodes?

[erg]
A nodesep attribute could be added to twopi, but would it mean separation between center, between bounding boxes, between shapes?
Unlike dot, nodesep and ranksep would not be independent. Implementing nodesep would probably involve finding the right radius
to guarantee the separation.

[pander]
Perhaps it is better to focus on \<A HREF="b1968.html"\>bug 1968\</A\> and
leave nodesep unimplemented for twopi.

<CD>
I think
  ranksep="10:10"
will do the trick for
  http://www.graphviz.org/bugs/b1974.html [^]
</CD>

If you agree, bug 1974 can be closed as invalid with the remark that
ranksep with colons should be used.
