|Summary||0001780: Undocumented features|
The DOT documentation at
does not include the URL attribute on edge, whose existence I only found by using Google search for
url site:https://mailman.research.att.com/pipermail/graphviz-interest/ [^]
a few minutes before I asked in the mailing list.
Also, I could not find any mention of the very useful HTML TABLE support
and the <TD PORT=""> non-HTML attribute there.
Please add these to the documentation. Thanks.
Thanks for pointing this out. Yes, the PDF-based documentation is very out-of-date. We don't have many people, and in
the contest between new features, bug fixes and documentation, the latter loses. We do have the note on the Graphviz web
site about the dotguide:
> The first two documents are not current with the features and details of
> Graphviz. They can serve as tutorials for understanding how to use Graphviz,
> but the most up-to-date documentation is provided in the on-line
> pages listed above.
Of course, if you are just using what's in the software package, you won't see this.
