|Summary||0000160: Unviewable GIF file produced due to large .dot file|
The following command was used :-
dot XX.dot -Tgif -o dependancy.gif
The gif file generated was not viewable.
[ellson} xv claims that it has been truncated. This might possibly indicate
a problem with improperly flushing or terminating the image file
outputs on Windows builds only. This bug needs testing on Windows.
[erg] Possibly related to bug 219.
[choo] The file is actually valid. I tried to view the same file using
Paint Shop Pro and it works. Looks like a bug in Internet Explorer
6.0.2600.0000. Using Paint Shop Pro, I converted it to jpg (4MB) which in
gif was 3MB. I then dropped that file into Internet Explorer and it
displayed the jpg without any problems. Probably a bug report for Microsoft.
