Additional Information

The bug seems to be in splines calculation.
All goes well if "splines=true;" line is remove from the DOT script

[erg]
It appears -y is ignored with -n. Is this a bug or the correct behavior?

[erg]
The bug actually does occur on MacOS and Linux. It appears to be in
the GTS library. So the question is whether it is a real GTS bug, or
our misuse of the library.
