Summary0001513: GraphViz crashes RGUI.EXE In Vista x64
Description

Using R and package RGRAPHVIZ.
Calling plot of a graph object crashes RGUI.EXE

This does not occur under WinXP 32-bit.

There is another problem. I tried running the example (below).
On my XP box it run fine and I got a GIF file preview of a graph. On the
Vista 64 box, the following error occurs:
<CD>
executing->C:\Program Files (x86)\Graphviz 2.21\bin\\neato.exe -Tgif -o"Untitled1.gif" -Kneato
Format: "gif" not recognized. Use one of: dia hpgl mif mp pcl pic vtx
</CD>

I next tried setting to pic from gif and got the following error.
<CD>
executing->C:\Program Files (x86)\Graphviz 2.21\bin\\dot.exe -Tpic -o"Untitled1.pic" -Kdot
Layout type: "dot" not recognized. Use one of:
</CD>

Something appears amiss with the Vista and GraphViz.

I'd be willing to try development builds on the the Vista box. Just let me know.

Additional Information

[arif] I have tested your input graph on a vista machine with today's release and
it seems working fine.
Did you install another version of Graphviz on your machine before
installing the one causing the problem?
Did you install the stable or the developer version of Graphviz?
