Summary0000148: Library I/O alters graphs
Description

Reading a file, then writing it changes node attributes
in both libgraph and libagraph. In the graph below, node
d has shape box, but when processed by libgraph (dot -Tcanon)
and libagraph (nop), the graph gives d shape "".
Steps To Reproduce

graph G {
  node[shape=box];
  d;
  subgraph cluster0 {
     d -- f;
     e [shape=house];
  }
}
Additional Information

[erg] The complaint about libgraph was bogus, in that I used
gpr exhibit the problem. Unfortunately, gpr relies on libagraph,
and it was this same bug in libagraph which caused the incorrect
output from gpr.
