Summary0001464: SVG graphics doeas not fit svg specification (text) and cannot be displayed by
Description

Hi

In my opinion svg graphics generated by -Tsvg option of dot is incopatible with stadards:
The problem is with attributes of text fields:

the example output of dot -Tsgv is:
<text text-anchor="middle" x="253" y="-15.4" style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:14.00;">AlignmentML</text>

this kind of text is readable by inkscape but will be well interpreted by Firefox.
Firefox will not understand the part: style="font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:14.00

In fact, when I look into the documentation of SVG format at http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/text.html [^]

I see an example:
<CD>
  <text x="250" y="150"
        font-family="Verdana" font-size="55" fill="blue" >
    Hello, out there
  </text>
</CD>

In fact, svg with font-family and font-size parameters outside "style" well displayed by Firefox

I am not an SVG expert and maybe Firefox makes it wrong but you might look at it more carefully
