|Summary||0001433: Unable to determine install path|
How can I deterministically find out the installation directory of GraphViz? In my usecase I'd like to call dot.exe from another program and this program should find the installation path of the latest graphviz installation.
MSI installations keep installation paths in registry. Each Windows flavor may have a different location for it. I dont know exact location but I will have a look at it and get back to you with sufficient information today or tomorrow.
P.S: Installation of previous stable version (the one with exe extension , not the msi) puts the path in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/ATT/Graphviz/InstallPath
If you have that version of graphviz you can use the registry key above.
