PlatformOSx86-OSX-10.5.3OS Version
Summary0001334: OSX 10.5 dashed and dotted lines are rendered as plain
Description

Since the mac osx port of Graphviz version 2.18 is experimental,
here are some work-arounds for Panther users that need
dashed or dotted lines right now.

most commands
<CD>
   dot -T<format>
</CD>
render dotted and dashed lines as plain (the Graphiz user inteface does that too)

<CD>
the lines are rendered OK using either
   dot -Tsvg
or
   dot -Tps
or
   dot -Tps2
</CD>

Note: -Tsvg seems to render nodenames in italic though.

You can then convert svg to your format using Magick (http://www.imagemagick.org/ [^])
You can convert ps or eps to pdf using ps2pdf

cheers,
Fred.
