|0001229||graphviz||Dot||public||2008-01-03 06:50||2011-04-28 04:03|
|Platform||OS||x86-Windows-xp sp2 / vista||OS Version|
|Summary||0001229: access violation in module ntdll|
The problem arises when using the wingraphviz dll as an activex object
and only when the user has NO admin rights. It probably has to do with
windows safety and privilige 'enhancements'. As soon as any Idot object's
method is called, de exception occures.
We encapsulate the wingraphiz dll by importing the tlb in delphi 2006.
It seems not to be so much a bug in dot, but more an incompatability
between the windows binary's for graphviz. We are very
in trouble by this, hopefully you have heard more about this.
[north] I wonder if it works properly without dynamic loading?
[erg] We have nothing directly to do with the WinGraphiz software. If you are having problems with it, you'll need
to contact the authors of WinGraphviz.
On the other hand, if you can replicate your problem just using version 2.16 of Graphviz, please send us the
details and we will try to track down the problem.
