crossing edges... not necessary: old binary version worls better (uses straight lines instead of curves)

[erg] The graph you supplied for the margin=0 bug appears to be the same graph as the
one you used for the extra crossing bug. The extra crossing doesn't occur when I try using the
most recent version, at least on Linux and SGI machines.

Looking closely at the output you provided, there is something very strange. dot produces ranked
drawings with the nodes on a minimum number of discrete levels. In your figures, some of the
nodes appear to be placed in the middle of some levels. At the least, this indicates we would really
need the input to try to track this down.
