Warning: Spline size > 1 not supported

I am using grpahviz with dot. I get a warning saying: "Warning: a1 -> a6: spline size > 1 not supported" where a1 and a6 are nodes. The code line for which this warning is generated is: a1 -> a6 [style=dashed, arrowsize=0.5, arrowhead=vee, penwidth=1.05, constraint=false, color=black, ltail=cluster_2, lhead=cluster_8]; Both of these nodes belong to different clusters and there are many more clusters in the graph. Can anyone please help.

At present, if compound=true,

At present, if compound=true, the code only works if there is a single spline. Normally, multiple splines only occur if concentrate=true. If you have the latter set, try turning it off.

Some trial and error revealed

Some trial and error revealed that if I remove the intra-cluster edges involving these nodes, then the warning goes way. Is this warning a bug. Can anybody please help.

Concentrate already false

concentrate was already set to false. What does the spline size mean. Also what so you mean by "if compound=true, the code only works if there is a single spline".

Concentrate has not been set

Concentrate has not been set to true, it does not work well with compound=true. What do you mean by "if compound=true, the code only works if there is a single spline". Strangely, the edge a1->a6 gives the warning but a6->a1 does not with the same settings. Also, what does spline size mean.
