I can not install graphviz on my computer. I installed "graphviz-2.38.msi" but I did not find the .exe file to install it.

What should I do?

i installed Graphviz-2.38 on Windows 7 but when i want to install Syther have this error: "make sure that graphviz is installed and that the location of the dot program is in the PATH environment variable"

is there any setting in PATH that i miss it??

If your text file contains a description of a graph in the dot language, then you can just run any of the Graphviz programs on it to get a drawing. You will need to add the directory C: \ Program Files \ Graphviz2.38\bin to your PATH environment variable. Then, in a dos shell, you can just do something like

  dot -Tpng -o mygraph.png mygraph.gv

where mygraph.gv is a file containing the text description of your graph.

We do provide a rudimentary GUI. You should find gvedit on your shortcuts menu. You can use it to open a .gv file, edit it, then click on one of the Run icons to generate the drawing.
