A little help for a newb?

So I have been using this program off and on for about a year and a half now, and it has been working just fine. I don't really know much about it because I am a casual user. Anyway, I've been using this to make a tech tree for a fantasy civilization themed game, similar to the Sid Meier's Civilization game series, and it had been working perfectly until recently when it just suddenly stopped and said that there was a syntax error on a line. So anytime I went to find and fix it there seemed to be nothing wrong. I have even tried deleting the most recent lines I put in seeing if that was the problem, nope the error persisted, I also tried getting rid of the lines where it said there was an error to see if that would do anything and still it said that the error was there, or it moved somewhere else. Starting over again and rewriting everything didn't help, nor did reorganizing it.

I have it set up on dot and it starts out as "digraph prof {". It's pretty long, at about 180 lines with about 50-ish nodes(?). I don't know what the problem is and nothing seems to be working for me. Hopefully one of you has some insight for me as to why this is happening and/or how I could fix this.

The graph and error

So the error usuallypops up as "Error: <gvedit>: synatx error in line 179 near '/'" or in a nother line with nothing in the apostrophies explain what the error is near.

The graph on the other hand, I've been trying to share it and it keeps triggering the spam filter.

The best thing to do would be

The best thing to do would be to post the graph, or any small copy of it that causes the problem. At least give the error message. Without more information, it is impossible to say what the problem is.
