Installation issue on Linux REDHAT 6.5

 

What I have done for installation: 1. get repo copy from your site http://www.graphviz.org/graphviz-rhel.repo 2. installed dependency: sudo rpm -ivh ann-libs-1.1.1-4.el6.x86_64.rpm 3. yum install sudo -E yum install graphviz TEST: [developer@localhost lib]$ ll -rw-rw-r--. 1 developer developer 702 Mar 27 10:40 dottest.txt -rw-rw-r--. 1 developer developer 719 Nov 9 07:19 stereo.png -rw-rw-r--. 1 developer developer 26 Mar 27 10:42 testdot [developer@localhost lib]$ dot -Tpng -otest.png dottest.txt Format: "png" not recognized. Use one of: followed some steps found from net, I did "sudo dot -c", I got further message [developer@localhost lib]$ sudo dot -c [developer@localhost lib]$ dot -Tpng -otest.png dottest.txt Format: "png" not recognized. Please try "yum install graphviz-x"

That should pull in the cairo libs and its png renderer.  It also pulls in various X11 dependencies, but if you are running a desktop on the machine that shouldn't worry you.
