build from source fails: libtoolize failed, COPYING.LIB not found

I'm trying to build graphviz on a redhat system, so the first step after cloning from git ought to be to run autogen.sh, but this fails

with the below output:

graphviz$ ./autogen.sh

Can anyone help me figuring out what's wrong, so I can build?

Thanks.

Re: build from source fails: libtoolize failed, COPYING.LIB not

I just tried a fresh clone and ./autogen.sh   on Fedora 20.  Works for me.

I suspect perhaps a dependency problem.  Perhaps libtool-ltdl-devel ?

Dependencies are not checked by this build method.

When I'm bringing up a new machine as a graphviz build host, I first use the graphviz...src.rpm,  Then rpmbuild --rebuild graphviz*src.rpm

Capturing the stderr output will give you a list of additional rpms that you need for building.

Once the build dependencies are all satisfied, then you should be able to build direct from git clone as you are trying.
