bug in libxdot

well, thanks to yesterday got advice, now I should able to use xdot for my Qt rendering, but I've found a bug in parseRect function:

line 161 of xdot.c should read

rp->h = strtod (s, &endp);

or the h field get a random value...
I wonder how many people actually uses parseXDot functions family...

I'm sorry I'm not experienced with bug report, seems overkill to learn it now.

Phantom arrow in dot digraph

Hello. I couldn't how to create an account within the issue tracker so I'll post here.

I've discovered what I believe to be a bug.
This renders with a phantom link from 1.0.3 to 1.0.

digraph G{
{
{node[shape=invhouse]"1.0"}
"1.0"->"1.0.1"->"1.0.2"->"1.0.3"
}
{node[shape=invhouse]"2.0"}
{ "2.0"->"2.0.1"->"2.0.2"->"2.0.3" }
}

I'm using GraphViz 2.32 on ArchLinux.

[dot] edge bend outside, not inside

Hi @all,

I have troble with the graph at the end of this post. There is an overlapping edge (the last colored one) which could be avoided easily.

How can I tell DOT to prefere drawing edges (nodes are in one line) below (without ports)?

Required is:
- no use of ports (e.g. "s" in this example)
- usage of the shown rank=same

Doesn't matter if:
- edges have to increase the size of the image (would be the case in my example)
