Title: Segmentation fault on relatively big input file (constraint)
Submitter: Michael Howitz
Date: Thu Jul 8 03:28:52 2004
Subsys: Dot
Version: 1.10, 1.12, 1.13
System: x86-Linux-Gentoo
Severity: major
On the given input file dot crashes with a Segmentation fault. I tried it on a debian with version 1.10 and also on a gentoo using versions 1.12 and 1.13.

It only says Segmentation fault and aborts the program.

I called dot using:
$ dot -Tgif generateHierachy.txt -o result.gif

If I remove the definition of the edges from the file, dot prints the following to the screen but it generates an outputfile: Error: Could not find/open font: Times in /... (list of dictionaries)

If I remove some of the edges from the edn of the file dot aborts conversion with: lt-dot: mincross.c:964: transpose_step: Assertion `(v)->u.order < (w)->u.order' failed. Aborted
