Title: cgprof failure, probably, really
Submitter: Jeff Donner
Date: Tue Jul 9 22:11:23 2002
Subsys: Dotty/Lneato/Lefty
Version: latest stable release, probably, as of 01Jul or so.
System: x86-Linux-Suse 8.0
Severity: minor
Problem:
Was using cgprof; perhaps it's at fault.

I'm sending this bug because it says it's self-contained in the dottybug.dot file.

If you don't do anything with this, that's fine.

jdonner@atlas ~/mkcgprof/cgprof-1.0> cat ~/omsclient.gprof | cgprof -T X
graph parser: parse error near line 6
context: >>> <<< dotty.lefty: giving up on dot
dotty.lefty: graph that causes dot
dotty.lefty: to fail has been saved in file dottybug.dot
dotty.lefty: please fill out a bug report at http://www.research.att.com/~erg/graphviz/bugform.html

Comments:
only sending because dotty.lefty printed a message saying to, and it is a pretty fresh version of dot.

[erg] Most likely either the external application or user's shell startup files are introducing extra characters into the graph. See bug 187.
