Title: circo crash
Submitter: Cristian
Date: Mon Sep 15 04:25:45 2008
Subsys: Circo
Version: 2.20
System: *-*-*
Severity: minor
Problem:
The GVedit/circo command "circo.exe -Tgif -o"Dota_6_54.gif" -Kcirco" crashes (twice!), Windows offers to send an error report, and GVedit might become unstable.

JPEG error #41: failure to create cairo surface: out of memory

AppName: circo.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: libcairo-2.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00001c68

Exception Information Code: 0xc0000005 Address: 0x0068dc1c68

System Information Windows NT 5.1 Build: 2600

Input file: b1439.dot
Comments:
[ellson] Doesn't crash on a machine with 4G of memory, but there is some kind of problem with the circo layout since a few nodes are separated by a very long diagonal edge which makes the image very large.

[arif] Anybody had a chance to look at this? Is it a windows specific bug? I was able to confirm the bug on my machine.

[cristian] Original output is too large, and my 2GB machine runs out of memory (JPEG error #41: failure to create cairo surface: out of memory)

Here is a smaller example.
