Title: not always correct svg export
Submitter: Dmitry Shagin
Date: Mon Jan 7 09:37:27 2008
Subsys: Output generation
Version: 2.12
System: x86-Linux-
Severity: cosmetic
Problem:
I use dot in such way: echo 'digraph G { margin=0 nslimit=2.0 ratio=compress node [ shape = "record" ]; _NODES DESCRIPTION_ }' | dot -Tsvg > final.svg; When I open result with QSvgWidget (tested on Qt 4.1-4.3) it is overscaled same thing with opening with gimp...
Input:
see above
Comments:
Not critical, but took some time to manage the problem.

[ellson] Could you see if the problem still exists in the latest 2.17-series development snapshot?
Fix:
i've found solution - reducing scale in svg file from default 1.33333 to 1.25 gives me exact matching of borders, so no i use dot in such way:

echo 'digraph G { margin=0 nslimit=2.0 ratio=compress node [ shape = "record" ]; _NODES DESCRIPTION_
}' | dot -Tsvg |sed "s/scale(1.33333 1.33333)/scale(1.25 1.25)/g > final.svg
