Title: Overlapping nodes and clusters
Submitter: James Gallogly

Subsys: Dot
Version: 1.8.4
System: x86-Other-Windows 2000
Severity: major
Problem:
It seems where there are multiple circular dependencies from more than one rank below a given parent node dot gets confused and just starts stacking nodes and clusters on top of each other. This makes for an impossible to read graph. I have attached a reduced and simplified version of a dot input file that causes this behavior.
Input file: b144.dot
Comments:
Feel free to contact me with things to try to reduce the likelihood of this behavior occurring or if you need any other additional information. This tool is very cool and I am impressed with the simplicty and power of the dot input language. Thanks!
